Gifts From the Heart: Creating Delightful Cookies in a Jar
In the past I’ve crafted up Healthy and Decadent Chocolate Hostess Gift Ideas in similar mason jar fashion. Today I’m sharing a tutorial for making a gift of cookies in a jar. Choose your favorite family recipe or use my yummy Friendsgiving cookie recipe. Keep scrolling to the bottom of this post for the ingredients.
1.First layer the dry ingredients in a jar. To achieve a perfect layerd look, start with adding the denser ingredients like the flower, then layer with sugar, nuts or chocolate chips…you see where I am going.
2. Write the recipe on your holiday card so that whomever is receiving it can make your cookies.
3. Tie the recipe card to the mason jar with a piece of twine or pretty ribbon. Be sure to include a note on the recipe card that says, “Just add wet”.
Do you need some pretty cards to write your recipes on? No worries. I’ve got you covered. You can order recipe cards featuring my unique watercolor art by clicking on the image below. There are lots of designs to choose from.
