Tip: Before I begin handing my wall art for my gallery wall, I like to sketch out a plan. Especially for the more complicated ideas. You want to be sure that your idea will work so it is best to take measurements of your wall and of your pieces before beginning your sketch. Then draw out your idea to scale. Graph paper works best. You know…the lined paper with boxes. I found this tutorial that will help give you an idea of what I mean. Click here >> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_b-qKmzKSE0. Once you have your idea sketched out, lay your pictures out on the floor to see how they look together. This will give you more of a visual and you can make adjustments before you commit to hanging them on your wall.

Another Useful Tip: Use command strips. This has helped me with the anxiety factor of improperly placing my art on my walls. If I get it wrong, no big deal. Just take it down and start again. The best part it, I haven’t damaged my walls.
