My double chocolate chip cookies are gluten free and versatile. They can be made with ingredients you already have on hand. If you don’t have everything you need, no need to worry. I offer substitutes. Keep scrolling for the recipe.
Ingredients:
2 cups almond flour
1/4 cup Garden of Life Golden Flaxseed
1/4 cup Cacao Powder
1 Tablespoon baking powder
1 chia egg (1 Tablespoon Garden of Life Chia Seeds, 3 Tablespoons water, soak for 10-20 minutes)
1/2 cup molasses or maple syrup
1/4 cup of Garden of Life Coconut Oil, Ghee or Butter melted
1/4 cup unsweetened almond or hemp milk
1/3 cup of semi sweet chocolate chips or white chocolate chips
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Whisk together almond flour, flaxseed, cacao powder and baking powder and set aside.
In a large bowl mix together the chia egg, molasses (or maple syrup) and coconut oil (or ghee or butter) using an electric mixer.
Add in your dry ingredients and mix until well incorporated.
Fold in chocolate chips (or white chocolate chips)
Add in almond or hemp milk and mix together.
Shape cookies with your hands and place 12 equal cookies on a baking sheet and bake for 12-14 minutes. Serves 12.
